Picture Contests

THE RULES and other info....

No entry fee.

No popularity voting. Judges are Mairead Fitzgerald, Sutra Kish and Karra Babii.

No nudity whatsoever.

Entrant must be at least 30 days old at time of submission.

One image to be submitted per week per contestant.

Image can be photoshopped.  Image can be a straight SL snapshot. Use of Windlight settings are your choice.

Image must show you wearing or using one item from us and/or our paticipating Winter Holiday Village Merchants.

Image must be taken utilizing the assigned pose area for that particular week.

Image must be upload to Flickr group WinterSL. http://www.flickr.com/groups/wintersl/
Flickr image title Must contain "Winter Holiday Sim Contest Week #1", etc.

Flickr image description must state what store's item you are wearing/using.

Deadline for each week is on Saturday evening by 11:59 PM SLT.

Judging will be held the next day, Sunday, and winner annouced that evening.  

Judges, their alts, employees, merchants in residence & their staff are not eligible to participate.

Winner annoucement will be in the Flickr group and posted in the Winter Holiday Sim blog as well as in various notecard ads.

A weekly winner will be awarded $1000L until the contest ends December 26, 2010. If mutliple people are in the pose, the $L prize is awarded to the person who submits the image to Flickr.  Submitter must have a SecondLife Account to accept funds.  Prize money is in LINDEN DOLLARS ONLY.

ANYONE submitting 4 (four) or more weekly entries is entered into a drawing to receive all new releases from Prim & Pixel during 2011!!!!!!!

The weeks winner will be displayed around the sim in the location the picture was shot for that week.

DON'T
Do not submit your image to me or my sister.  Entries are only accepted on FLICKR.
Don't submit images without crediting store of item used/worn.

Have fun with it!  B creative!  It is a snow sim, but you are not limited to a holiday theme. You are welcome to post your other non-contest entry pics taken at WInter Holiday Village sim as well.  Just don't title them for the contest.  We'd love to see all your shots.

INFO
It is our humble opinion the sim is best seen with setting close to sunset or midnight. Particles maxed to 8096. Atmospheric shaders off unless using windlight. However, this is your artistic choice.

Additional poses will be available in each contest area for 1 week.  To turn off unused poses type /1 hide or to show /1 show
