REQUIREMENTS FOR BOTH POSITIONS
VOICE REQUIRED. No exceptions. Older voice a plus. Voice "enhancers/changers" not allowed.
SL knowledgable. If younger than 6 months, must exhibit proficiency in using SL.
Knows the value of a business commitment.
Knows how to be ready for assignment on time.
Friendly, outgoing, helpful, cheery, chipper, smiles lot type of people person.
English speaking required. Accents considered. Multi-lingual a plus. Good with a translator.
Viewer 2.x capable user.
Knows how to NOT complain about lag.
Works well without guidance after initial training session.
POSITION DURATION
Mrs Claus to begin day after Thanksgiving 2010 through December 23, 2010
Santa to begin December 1, 2010 through December 23, 2010
SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS FOR MRS. CLAUS:
Must be available: Monday 2 PM - Wednesday NOON - Saturday NOON & 4 PM, Sunday 11 AM & 4 PM
All times SL time (SLT) - (GMT-8) - (PST) / Shift duration 1 hour or less usually. Please do not schedule other appointments immediately after the hour session as it may go overtime. You may not leave until your guests have left the area. Times are subject to change but not by more than 1 hour either way to assist you in scheduling, to be discussed at interview . Your work week will be as shown above MONDAY through SUNDAY.
SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS FOR SANTA:
Must be available: Tuesday NOON & 3 PM - Thursday NOON & 4 PM - Friday 1 & 3 PM, Sunday 1 PM & 4 PM
All times SL time (SLT) - (GMT-8) - (PST)/ Shift duration 1 hour or more. Please do not schedule other appointments immediately after the hour session as it may go overtime. You may not leave until your guests have left the area. Times are subject to change but not by more than 1 hour either way to assist you in schedulingto be discussed at interview .
POSITION DUTIES for MRS. CLAUS
You will greet people attending the event and read holiday stories and poems using voice in a special area on the sim designated for the event.
POSITION DUTIES for SANTA
You will greet people and allow them to sit on your lap. You will cheerfully inquire about their wish for Christmas. You will pose with them for a picture if they wish (only while seated on your lap). You will hand out a gift dependent on Adult male or female or child avatar.
EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Voice enabled microphone.
All other items, costume, stories, gifts, etc. will be provied.
SALARY
Mrs. Claus $1000LD per full work week plus 100% of tip jar earnings.
Santa $1500LD per full work week plus 100% of earnings.
Salaray penalties: $100LD deduction from base salary for each occurance of being late. $500 deduction for each occurance of missing an entire one hour session without 48 hour notice.
These events are advertised and schedules are to be adhered to.

Include in the notecard anything that you think may enhance your chances for the position. Do not include regular profile information, we can easily see that ourselves.
INTERVIEW
Be prepared for an interview within 24 hours of submitting your notecard.
Both position interviews will be conducted in voice only. A VOICE short story reading will be required of Mrs. Santa Claus.
PLEASE READ ALL OF THE ABOVE. Lack of knowledge about the position when you meet with us will NOT get you the job.
A hiring decision will be made by November 17, 2010 and all applicants informed if they have the position or that the position has been filled.
All that said, I'm not a bitchy person.
